Fauldhouse Community Developmen­t Trust invite all members of the community, especially ex-service men and women to join us at our inter-denominati­onal Remembranc­e Sunday Service at a Fauldhouse War Memorial, Bridge Street on Sunday 11 Nov at 1 pm. During the laying of wreaths, children from both the local primary schools will read out the regiment, rank and names of ‘The Fallen’ inscribed on the memorial stone. Bingo every Wednesday in the Miners Welfare. Doors open 7.30 pm eyes down 8 pm. Prize money £560 every week. Ten main book games plus two flyers. In addition there are two £100 snowballs. All proceeds in aid of Fauldhouse United F.C. Licensed bar and all welcome. Fauldhouse Cycling Without Age Project is recruiting volunteer trishaw pilots. Charity Shop in Fauldhouse Indoor Market 1 Blackfauld­s Place. A selection of clothes, shoes, toys, books etc all free of charge to children in need. It should be noted and respected that the shop is not designed for folk to wander in and uplift items just to fill their children’s wardrobe but rather it’s to help families who are genuinely struggling and find it extremely difficult to provide basic needs such as clothing and shoes. Any family in such circumstan­ce is welcome to drop into the shop at any time. Shop opening hours Mon - Friday 10-3 pm.
