Fauld­house Com­mu­nity De­vel­op­ment Trust in­vite all mem­bers of the com­mu­nity, es­pe­cially ex-ser­vice men and women to join us at our in­ter-de­nom­i­na­tional Re­mem­brance Sun­day Ser­vice at a Fauld­house War Memo­rial, Bridge Street on Sun­day 11 Nov at 1 pm. Dur­ing the lay­ing of wreaths, chil­dren from both the lo­cal pri­mary schools will read out the reg­i­ment, rank and names of ‘The Fallen’ in­scribed on the memo­rial stone. Bingo ev­ery Wed­nes­day in the Min­ers Wel­fare. Doors open 7.30 pm eyes down 8 pm. Prize money £560 ev­ery week. Ten main book games plus two fly­ers. In ad­di­tion there are two £100 snow­balls. All pro­ceeds in aid of Fauld­house United F.C. Li­censed bar and all wel­come. Fauld­house Cy­cling With­out Age Project is re­cruit­ing vol­un­teer tr­ishaw pi­lots. Char­ity Shop in Fauld­house In­door Mar­ket 1 Black­faulds Place. A se­lec­tion of clothes, shoes, toys, books etc all free of charge to chil­dren in need. It should be noted and re­spected that the shop is not de­signed for folk to wan­der in and up­lift items just to fill their chil­dren’s wardrobe but rather it’s to help fam­i­lies who are gen­uinely strug­gling and find it ex­tremely dif­fi­cult to pro­vide ba­sic needs such as cloth­ing and shoes. Any fam­ily in such cir­cum­stance is wel­come to drop into the shop at any time. Shop open­ing hours Mon - Fri­day 10-3 pm.
