1st Ar­madale Girls Brigade Meet on Tues­day evenings in Ar­madale Parish Church hall with Ex­plor­ers (P1-P3) meet­ing from 6pm-7.15pm. Ju­niors (P4-P7), 7pm-8.30pm. Bri­gaders (S1-S6) 7.45pm-9.15pm. All new and ex­ist­ing bri­gaders will be warmly wel­comed. Ar­madale Parish Church Sun­day morn­ing ser­vices are held at 11am and all will be warmly wel­comed. The Sun­day School also meet at 11am. The Church is plan­ning to em­bark on a ma­jor project for im­prov­ing ac­ces­si­bil­ity to the Church halls which are widely used by the Com­mu­nity and Church or­gan­i­sa­tions. The cost of this project is ma­jor and fund rais­ing for this work is es­sen­tial and if you can help to fund raise in any way or do­nate to­wards this work the Church would be de­lighted. We ask for ev­ery­one’s help as the Church is a large part of the Ar­madale Com­mu­nity. A Com­mu­nity Con­sul­ta­tion Sur­vey is be­ing car­ried out at the mo­ment and the Church is urg­ing peo­ple to go on line to the Ar­madale Parish Church web­site and fol­low the link to the sur­vey as the Church would like as many peo­ple as pos­si­ble to com­plete the short sur­vey. Pa­per copies of the sur­vey are also avail­able 50+ Meet­ings Monthly meet­ings take place on the first Thurs­day of the month at 10am in Ar­madale Com­mu­nity Cen­tre. Thrift Shop is held in Ar­madale Parish Church hall on Tues­days from 10am-12 noon. Why not come along and browse and pick up a bar­gain and en­joy a cup of tea and a blether. All wel­come. Knit and Nat­ter Knit for char­ity in Ar­madale Methodist Church Hall on the first and third Tues­day of the month from 2pm – 4pm. Even if you don’t knit why not come along and en­joy a cuppa and a chat. Ev­ery­one will be made most wel­come. Smoke Free Loth­ian Stop Smok­ing Sup­port takes place in Ar­madale Com­mu­nity Cen­tre on Wed­nes­days from 12 noon – 1pm. This is a free ser­vice. For fur­ther de­tails con­tact 01506 651829. Trib­ute Night A Neil Di­a­mond/Elvis trib­ute night has been or­gan­ised by Ar­madale This­tle and will take place in the High­lander on 24 Novem­ber. Tick­ets £7.00 and are avail­able from Com­mit­tee Mem­bers. Boys’ Brigade The Boys Brigade meet ev­ery Thurs­day evening in Ar­madale Parish Church hall and it would be great to see ex­ist­ing bri­gaders and any boys who would be in­ter­ested in join­ing the Brigade. The An­chors for (P2-P3’s) meet from 5.45pm-6.45pm and the Ju­nior Sec­tion start­ing to­day for (P4/P5/ P6’s) meet from 6.45pm-8.00pm. Come along and en­rol and meet new friends and have fun. WRI Meet in Colin­sheil Hous­ing with Care at 7pm on the sec­ond Mon­day of each month. Ar­madale Com­mu­nity Coun­cil Meet in Ar­madale Com­mu­nity Cen­tre at 7pm on the sec­ond Thurs­day of the month. Mini Kick­ers Takes place in Ar­madale Com­mu­nity Cen­tre on a Fri­day from 3.30pm-4.30pm. Mini Kick­ers are ba­sic in­tro­duc­tory foot­ball ses­sions for 3-5 year olds. Cost is £3.50 per week and par­tic­i­pants can just turn up to pay and play on the day. Youth Space is si­t­u­ated above RS McColls and is ac­cessed at the rear of Scot­mid. Re­store Com­mu­nity Church will of­fi­cially be start­ing on Sun­day 2 De­cem­ber at 6:30pm in the Scout Hall, South Street, Ar­madale and will con­tinue to meet on the first Sun­day of each month tthere­after. All wel­come.

Friend­ship Group The bus for the out­ing to the Forge at Park­head and McKinnon Mills this Satur­day 10 Novem­ber will leave from the for­mer li­brary site at 10am and pick up at the usual points in Ar­madale.

Choir The Net­work Ju­niors Choir prac­tice in Ar­madale Parish Church hall and have spa­ces for Pri­mary 4 to S4 boys and girls to sing, act, per­form and raise money for char­ity. They meet ev­ery Thurs­day in Ar­madale Parish Church Hall from 3.15pm-4.30pm so why not come along and join this very lively choir. tion have pro­duced a cal­en­dar called “The Lost Ar­madale Cal­en­dar 2019 “and it is on sale in the Wool Shop. The cost of the cal­en­dar is£5.00. This is a fab­u­lous read and a fan­tas­tic present to give some­one.
