Bath­gate and Dis­trict Flower Club Open night , 7 for 7.15pm on Mon­day 19th Novem­ber in the High Church Hall, Bath­gate. Demon­stra­tor will be John Dal­ton (Cum­bria) and the theme is ‘A Clas­si­cal Christ­mas’. All wel­come, please come along on the night. Bath­gate Mem­ory Cafe Peo­ple liv­ing with de­men­tia and their car­ers are warmly in­vited to the Mem­ory Café which will take place at Rose­mount Gar­dens, Mid Street, Bath­gate on Mon­day 4th Novem­ber at 1.30pm. We will be mak­ing some Christ­mas Crafts and en­joy­ing a cup of tea or cof­fee. So come along, meet new peo­ple and have fun in a friendly car­ing group. 1st Bath­gate Boys’ Brigade are hold­ing their an­nual cof­fee morn­ing on 10th Novem­ber 10.00 to 12.00am in Bath­gate High Church large hall tick­ets £2.50 or pay at the door, all wel­come. Bath­gate Pro­ces­sion and John New­land Fes­ti­val we have started to pre­pare for the 2019 pro­ces­sion and have reached the stage of look­ing for char­ac­ters. The pro­ces­sion will take place on Satur­day, June 1 and we re­quire se­nior pupils to take part in the his­tor­i­cal pageant. Once again we have let­tered the three se­condary schools within the Bath­gate catch­ment area but we would greatly ap­pre­ci­ate your sup­port in find­ing our prin­ci­pal char­ac­ters. The pupils who take part in the pro­ces­sion must be Bath­gate res­i­dents.
