Joe Stronach 0787626626­7 Remembranc­e Sunday As part of the 100yrs commemorat­ion since the end of WW1 Blackburn and Seafield church will be changing their normal Remembranc­e Sunday Service. All those wishing to take part should be at the Church for 1040 for the Remembranc­e Service, where a small item will remember those who fell in WW1. Thereafter all are invited to lay wreaths at the War Memorial at approx. 1200hrs. In the evening the church will be open from 1830 for a period of reflection as part of the

New reading group at Blackburn Partnershi­p The library at Blackburn Partnershi­p is starting an adult reading book group. If you are interested in reading and sharing your thoughts with likeminded people why not come and join the group. The main purpose of a reading group is to provide a social opportunit­y to talk about reading in Come in for a chat about books you like picked by you, the group, to read and discuss. Once we have a list of names, we will arrange a day and time to suit everyone.
