Joe Stronach 07876266267 Re­mem­brance Sun­day As part of the 100yrs com­mem­o­ra­tion since the end of WW1 Black­burn and Seafield church will be chang­ing their nor­mal Re­mem­brance Sun­day Ser­vice. All those wish­ing to take part should be at the Church for 1040 for the Re­mem­brance Ser­vice, where a small item will re­mem­ber those who fell in WW1. There­after all are in­vited to lay wreaths at the War Memo­rial at ap­prox. 1200hrs. In the evening the church will be open from 1830 for a pe­riod of re­flec­tion as part of the

New read­ing group at Black­burn Part­ner­ship The li­brary at Black­burn Part­ner­ship is start­ing an adult read­ing book group. If you are in­ter­ested in read­ing and shar­ing your thoughts with like­minded peo­ple why not come and join the group. The main pur­pose of a read­ing group is to pro­vide a so­cial op­por­tu­nity to talk about read­ing in Come in for a chat about books you like picked by you, the group, to read and dis­cuss. Once we have a list of names, we will ar­range a day and time to suit ev­ery­one.
