Sizzling action in Friday League

The Bathgate Friday Night Darts League once again produced a string of fine team and individual performances on a brilliant evening of darts action.

The Cross Tavern from Whitburn were able to edge out a victory over Glenmavis Bowling Club B, winning 5-4 in a closely fought contest.

Kirknewton Innkeepers hosted the travelling Coppies Bar team from Armadale and continued their good season with a fine 6-3 victory to take the points.

Glenmavis Bowling Club’s A team were able to ensure that it wasn’t a double defeat for the club as they were in fine form to pick up an 8-1 victory over Corrie Bar.

Billy Meikle fired in a 19dart leg with Marc Campbell also on target with a 19-dart game.

Scott Baillie went one better with an 18-dart effort.

And just to prove that was no fluke, he produced a fine 19-dart leg along with a classy 95 take out and a maximum 180 on a fine evening.

And he teamed up Andy Thomson in the doubles for the fastest leg of the night of the night as the duo threw a 15-darter.
