Time Out Art Class meet in the Craiginn Centre on Tuesday’s from 6 p.m The class have some of their work on display in the Craiginn Centre. Certainly worth a look. Teas and coffees are available after morning worship each Sunday. Service begins at 10 a.m. All welcome

Knit wits meet in the Craiginn Centre on Thursday evenings from 6-30 p.m. This is a comparativ­ely new class and is well attended. Folks are willing to share their skills with those who are keen to learn knitting or crochet.

Monday club Robert Andrews was the guest at last weeks meeting of the Monday Club. Robert had brought along a large selection of clothing for sale and was thanked by the group. Tea was served and table games played.

Christmas Fun Time Wednesday 5 th December in the Craiginn Centre 5-30 p.m.-7-30 p.m. Story Time with Santa 5-30 p.m-6-00 p.m. tickets are limited. After Story Time Santa will be visiting all the children within the Centre. Magic Time with Peter Merlin 5-30 p.m.-6-30 p.m. Glow Party from 6-30 p.m.-7-30 p.m. Tickets are available from Craiginn Centre cost £1.00 per child under 2 go free.

Wreaths were laid by the Church, Local Councillor and various village organisati­ons as well as the local primary school during last weeks service of remembranc­e . Two minutes silence was observed and the Roll of Honour read by John Bryce and Douglas Orr. Like many others throughout the land the Church Bell rang at 12-30 p.m.

SWI President Tracy Hill extended a warm welcome to the November meeting of the SWI. Routine business was dealt with before introducin­g Kay Divine who had brought along some of her work in glass painting. She told the various techniques used in this art. Kay was thanked on behalf of the group by Marlene Dickson. Tea was served and the raffle drawn. Competitio­n winners for the evening were A Knitted Tea Cosy 1 st Mary McNee, 2 nd Margaret Robb and 3 rd Sadie Montgomery. Favourite Box 1 st Margaret Robb, 2nd Mary McNee and 3 rd Rhona McLeod. Blackridge Primary School Christmas Nativity A Miracle in Town. l senior residents of the village are invited to attend our school nativity free of charge on Wednesday 12 December at 1.30pm in the school hall. Feel free to wear your Christmas jumper or tinsel. Join us for tea / coffee and mince pies after the show.
