Santa’s sleigh set to spread festive cheer
a West Lothian business will be spreading some festive cheer again this year with their magical santa’s sleigh.
For many years, the team from the garage Whitburn has delighted people young and old around the community to say a great big thank you for their support.
and this weekend they’re getting ready to do it all again with some new additions.
the 2018 tour will be visiting all the usual catchment areas as well as adding a few more stopping places to help young and old in their communities see the sleigh and catch a smile from santa and his helpers.
and this year everyone will be able to visit santa in his grotto at the garage for the very first time.
owner Ian robertson explained:“Each year we are asked to visit other areas with the sleigh but we struggle to fit any more in, in fact the sleigh travelled 800 miles in 2017.
“Introducing the grotto will hopefully give those children, and adults, the opportunity to see the sleigh, share smiles and get pictures with santa, his helpers and the sleigh.”
Ian also said the team are introducing a brand new feature for this Christmas where customers can nominate their street for a visit.
He continued :“garage customers who have purchased a service, repair or Mot between october 1 and December 10 can nominate a street where the sleigh will visit.
“Each year we try to visit as many streets as we can.”

nomination forms will be available from the garage office and areas will include Whitburn, East Whitburn, Longridge, Fauldhouse, greenrigg, Harthill, Blackridge, shotts, Breich, addiewell, stoneyburn, Bents, Bathgate, Blackburn, seafield, armadale, torphichen and Westfield.
