Community should be proud
It was an honour to attend and be part of the remembrance day service at Strathbrock Community Centre in Broxburn on Remembrance Sunday.
This is already a very poignant time of the year however this year of course marks the 100 year anniversary of the WW1 armistice and to mark it in such a way was certainly fitting.
The skill and dedication displayed to create the awesome Poppy wall was truly remarkable and is a credit to the local community groups in Broxburn, Uphall and Livingston.
I really cannot say enough about the way in which the community pulled together and would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to all involved.
I would like to extend that thanks to Kerry Steyn and Eli Forbes, who volunteered to take photos and capture these precious moments.
