Centre has a great festive line-up in store

A packed programme of festive treats is on the cards at Howden Park Centre in Livingston next month.

‘A Swinging Christmas Evening’ will see pianist/vocalist Peter Gill and his band to perform their eclectic mix of swing standards, boogie woogie classics and Christmas gems such as ‘White Christmas’, ‘Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town’, ‘Baby It’s Cold Outside’ and ‘Winter Wonderland.

The evening promises to be a sublime blend of cool boogie and blues, interlaced with

plenty of festive cheer and good humour.

The show will take place on Sunday, December 16, at 7.30pm.

Tickets are priced £17 or £15 for concession­s.

Also taking palce is Festive Brass with Whitburn Band.

It will be a popular evening of light-hearted Christmas music from Whitburn Band, one of the world’s top brass bands.

A relaxed evening of classic and current Christmas favourites, this intimate, traditiona­l concert is the perfect way to embrace the warmth of Christmas. It’s sure to be fun for all the family. It takes place on Saturday, December 22, at 7.30pm at Studio Space 3 in Howden Park Centre.

Tickets are £11 or £9 for concession­s.

Between Christmas and new year, multi-award winning Skerryvore will return to Livingston.

The band create a trad-rock fusion that is truly fit for 21st Century.

Continuing their relentless worldwide touring, the band has recently taken time out to release the widely acclaimed new album ‘EVO’.

Skerryvore return to Howden Park Centre, (one of their all time favourite venues) for their ‘annual’ visit.

Their exciting set will include songs such as ‘The Exorcists’, ‘Mile High’ and ‘Trip to Modera’, alongside songs such as the wistful ‘At the End of the Line’ and the uplifting ‘Take my Hand’.

Enjoy the best of contempora­ry Scottish music from simply one of the best bands around.
