LRC impress in East District races

The second match of the East District Cross Country League took place at a particularly wet and muddy Broxburn on Saturday.

Lothian Running Club were represented in both the senior and junior races. The best performance came from the Masters Men squad who finished in third place. Results were as follows:

Under-11 girls: 27th Megan Lang (6.23), 35th Eilidh Turner (6.42). Team 13th.

Under-11 boys: 53rd Danny Fletcher (6.26). Team 15th

Under-15 girls: 14th Hannah Steel (18.22), 25th Robyn McDonald (19.27). Team 13th.

Under-17 boys: 12th Ryan Kirkland (21.12). Team 13th.

Senior women: 34th Yvonne Crilly (25.30),63rd Saran Jones (27.39). Team 21st, Masters 12th.

Senior men: 31st Malcolm Lang (30.33), 51st Josh Dack (31.27), 65th Alan Knowles (31.51), 90th Barry McComish (33.52), 95th Euan McInnes (34.99), 108th Colin Partridge (34.45), 111th Colin Eades (35.03), 183rd Alan Cunningham (38.25), 220th Al Murray (41.11), 265th Ted Finch (1:01.06). Team 10th, Masters 3rd.
