Rain­bows Girls aged 5-7 are wel­come to come along to Kirknew­ton Vil­lage Hall every Wed­nes­day dur­ing term times from 5-6.15pm. We have lots of fun do­ing dif­fer­ent crafts, play­ing all sorts of games, learn­ing new things, work­ing to­wards spe­cial Girl Guid­ing badges and there is al­ways lots of laugh­ing go­ing on. Brown­ies is for girls aged 7-10 and takes place af­ter Rain­bows on a Wed­nes­day in the vil­lage hall 6.30-8pm dur­ing term times. We are sim­i­lar to Rain­bows but aim it at the slightly older age group. Games, crafts, badges, out­ings and week­ends away at Brownie Camp are just a few of the ex­cit­ing things the girls get up to when at Brown­ies. Through this ac­tion-packed pro­gramme, girls can build con­fi­dence by de­vel­op­ing new skills, learn­ing about the wider com­mu­nity, find­ing out about dif­fer­ent cul­tures and get­ting in­volved with global is­sues like the en­vi­ron­ment and en­dan­gered species.
