Po­lice ap­peal after thefts

po­lice in West Loth­ian are ap­peal­ing for wit­nesses after thieves raided two busi­ness premises in dedridge, Livingston.

the in­ci­dents oc­curred be­tween 8pm on thurs­day (de­cem­ber 13) and 8.30am on Fri­day (de­cem­ber 14) in dou­glas rise. En­try was forced into two premises with a four-fig­ure sum of cash and prod­ucts worth a four-fig­ure sum taken from one and a three­fig­ure sum of cash taken from the other.

de­tec­tive Con­sta­ble tony gilhoo­ley of Livingston Cid said:“these kind of break-ins can cause a huge strain on busi­nesses and we are seek­ing wit­nesses and in­for­ma­tion which could help us trace those re­spon­si­ble. We are treat­ing these break-ins as linked and would like to speak to any­one who may have seen some­thing sus­pi­cious overnight be­tween thurs­day 13 and Fri­day 14 de­cem­ber.
