Po­lice probe break in at shop

Thieves have stolen a three­fig­ure sum of cash from a fast food shop in Lin­lith­gow dur­ing an early morn­ing raid on the busi­ness. Three men forced their way into the shop on High Street at around 2.45am on Tues­day, De­cem­ber 11. The sus­pects then stole the money be­fore es­cap­ing in a small grey car with a black roof, be­lieved to be a Mini. Po­lice have launched an in­ves­ti­ga­tion and in­quiries are on­go­ing to trace these in­di­vid­u­als. Any­one with in­for­ma­tion is asked to come for­ward. De­tec­tive In­spec­tor Paul Bat­ten from Livingston CID said: “This break- in is likely to have at­tracted a lot of at­ten­tion, de­spite the early hour, and any­one who wit­nessed what hap­pened is urged to con­tact po­lice im­me­di­ately.
