Charity festive opening hours

West Lothian Foodbank have released their opening hours over the Christmas and New Year period.

The warehouse and all distribution centres will be closed on the following dates: Christmas Day; Boxing Day; New Year’s Day and January 2.

However the foodbank’s warehouse will be open for additional days in the lead up to Christmas to allow time for donations to be dropped off.

The additional opening ours are: December 13, 9.30am to 4pm; December 14, 9.30am to 4pm; December 20, 9.30am to 4pm and December 21, 9.30am to 4pm.

West Lothian Foodbank’s Blackburn Distribution Centre is also opening for an additional two days on December 24 and 31 from 2pm to 4pm.

A charity single has also been recorded to help raise funds for the foodbank with West Lothian musicians recording a version of Do they Know it’s Christmas? which is available online or at the West Lothian Guitar Services shop.
