We have a voice
Martha Tait, aged 10, Glasgow
“Year of Young People has given Scotland an opportunity to build young people’s reputation, and provide more opportunities for them to influence and take action.
“I think 2018 has made adults realise that young people have a voice, can make decisions affecting them and share their points of view.
“For example, a young person from a school in Glasgow recently made a presentation in which she talked about how she was able to influence her own school’s decisions on a certain issue.
“I would wish for adults not just to let us speak, but to listen and support us.”
