Praise for local school

of attainment achieved by young people in nationally accredited awards.

A spokeperson for Education Scotland said: “We discussed with staff and Huntercombe Group how they might continue to improve the school.

“We agreed to revisit the length of the school week and continue to develop the curriculum and develop more rigorous approaches to self-evaluation and better monitor the impact of school improvement priorities.

“We are confident that the school has the capacity to continue to improve and so we will make no more visits in connection with this inspection.”

Huntercombe helps children and young people up to 18 years recover from a range of mental health conditions and provides education in its own school.
