Regretfully, due to various circumstances, the hard decision has been taken to disband the 90 year old Bellsquarry section of the Scottish
Woman’s Rural Institute which until recently met in Bellsquarry Village Hall on the 3rd Thursday of the month.
MURIESTON MEDICAL PRACTICE FLU CLINICS
The Practice has scheduled a number of dedicated flu vaccination clinics throughout October and November.
These clinics will be strictly by appointment only – Please check the website for details.
Given the likely uptake due to the COVID situation it is important that the Practice telephone lines are not backed up by patients seeking appointments.
The website will allow choice and the ability to book / cancel appointments at your convenience.
We appreciate your co- operation during these unprecedented times.
Vaccines for nursery and primary school age children will be provided via the community vaccination teams (CVT) and not the Practice.
LIVINGSTON CRICKET CLUB
to our members, we miss you and hope you are all keeping well. It’s been a long time since we have been able to get together and whilst restrictions are easing it is not yet possible for us to re-open the Kingfisher Bar.
We are closely monitoring the regulations issued by the Scottish government and obviously want to ensure any return to the club is safe for our members.
The regulations at present though are such that we are not able to re-open without making a substantial investment and alterations to the premises which would then only allow us to have a limited number of people on site.
We have therefore taken the decision to defer opening until restrictions reduce further.
This will unfortunately mean that all events remain cancelled until further notice including this year’s gala day. We will open again as soon as we deem it is safe to do so and we are already planning events for next year, which will be our 40th anniversary. Dates to mark in your diary are:
2nd to 4th April 2021 Beer festival 30th May 2021 Garden party
4th September 2021 Gala day We have managed to start some limited cricket activity with heavily restricted training, in the hope that we will have some sport on our wonderfully maintained ground this year.
We hope to see you all as soon as it is safe for us to open, in the meantime look after yourselves and stay safe.
Livingston Cricket Club would like to remind people that the club is private property and although they don’t stop people walking their dogs, dog walkers should take their dog poo bags home to dispose of, or place them in the appropriate public waste bins provided by West Lothian Council.
