BELLSQUARR­Y SANTA DASH

a brand new community event for this year organised by the Bellsquarr­y Parent Teacher Action Group School fundraisin­g team. Sunday 5th December. Registrati­on from 1.30pm at Village Hall • Warm-up from 2pm, kick-off 2.15pm. £2 entry fee (includes Santa hat). Come along and don’t miss, mulled wine, hot chocolate and home baking at the Village Hall.

Highlights include our mega chocolate tombola and some amazing raffle prizes donated by local businesses. All welcome

KIZZI’S POP UP DOGGY DINER

indoor café will be held at Livingston

Cricket Club on Sunday 5th December from 11am to 3pm. You will have to book your table for your hooman friends, as us dogs need to make sure they stay safe. For £2:95, you can have a selection of Doggy treats such as liver cake, peanut butter and banana biscuits and a Barkdque burger. Kizzi will give you a doggy bag if you cannot manage it all. Hoomans can buy a nice coffee or tea and some cake and chat to friends. Table slots are 11- 12:45 and 13:00- 14:45. Please book early to avoid disappoint­ment. Inaugural Meeting of the new committee followed by a normal bimonthly meeting will be held on Monday

6th December from 7.45pm - 9pm in Bellsquarr­y Hall, Calder Road, Bellsquarr­y EH54 9AA. Bellsquarr­y and Adambrae residents are welcome to attend any of the meetings.

THE LIVINGSTON SOUTH CHURCH

Outreach committee is planning a Christmas Coffee Morning on Saturday 4th December in Murieston Village Hall. This will be a free event and invites will be put out to the community. They are hoping that Santa might put in an appearance.

MURIESTON PHOTOGRAPH­IC GROUP

is based at Livingston Cricket Club and meet on the first Wednesday of the month from 7-9. All welcome and any levels. This is not a membership club - the idea is just to be an informal group who meet once or maybe twice a month to discuss anything related to photograph­y, share pictures, help each other with skills, maybe a few of the more expert in the group will give short talks about specific topics and show techniques used to achieve certain photograph­y styles. No fee, other than being a member of the Cricket Club Social (just £5/year). COMMUNITY PLAYGROUP CROFTHEAD

Hickory House has spaces Monday to Friday 9:15 to 11:30am. £9 per session no minimum session. They also offer funded places. Children can attend age 2 to 5. Please have a look at the Playgroup’s Facebook page for more details.
