Home is where the Heart is as new building plans get green light
Planning permission has been granted for 185 new homes at Heartlands near Whitburn.
Taylor Wimpey East Scotland received the consent from West Lothian Council for the houses off Longridge Road.
The development will provide a range of two and three bedroom terraced and semi-detached homes, as well as three and four bedroom detached homes and pocket play spaces for children.
This land at Heartlands forms a key part of the masterplan development to deliver around 2000 new homes and commercial space, as well as retail and leisure facilities all set in the tranquil West Lothian countryside.
Heartlands is already a growing and vibrant community.
It enjoys a central location, situated on the edge of Whitburn, and providesexcellent transport links for both Edinburgh and Glasgow. The new motorway junction 4A on the M8 also forms part of the wider Heartlands masterplan, making this development ideal for commuters.
