In person worship in the Church has resumed on Sunday mornings at 11am and due to the changes in restrictio­ns there is no requiremen­t to book to attend now although there are still some restrictio­ns in place.

The Sunday School has also resumed at 11am. All welcome. The Christmas Service Schedule began on 5 December with the annual Gift Service when donations of money were gifted and will go to support the West Lothian Foodbank. 12 December at 6.30pm is a n online Christmas Praise Service. Sunday 19 December at 11am is a Christingl­e Service which will be online as well as an in person service.

Also in person and online on 19 December is the annual Blue Christmas Service at 2.30pm. 24 December in Church and online is the Christmas Eve Service and the Christmas Day Service is 11am on line only. Sunday 26 December is Sunday Worship at 11am in person in Church and online. We hope you can join our Services as all are welcome.

ARMADALE BOWLING CLUB

Bingo takes place in the club on Wednesdays at 8pm and Saturdays at 7.30pm. The treasure chest draw takes place on Saturday evenings.

ARMADALE THISTLE FOOTBALL CLUB

Thistle are at home to Livingston on Saturday with the kick off at 1.30pm. Sunday 5 December lottery draw numbers were 4, 7, 8, 17.

There were no winners and the prize money for Sunday 12 December is £600. A bingo evening has been organised and will take place on Friday 17 December in the Cavalier with entry £1.00.

Online workshops will be held today (Thursday) from 1-2pm (Cv Preparatio­n), December 14 from 10-12pm (Wellbeing) and December 16 from 11-12pm and have fun. Being active and interactin­g with others is extremely beneficial for both physical and mental health and we look forward to seeing the positive impact this award will have on the local community.”

Anyone with dementia is welcome, but we would ask that they were accompanie­d by a carer.

Sessions are from 2-3.30pm and begins with an afternoon tea followed by all types of musical activity. Volunteers are all skilled in dementia and music.

Millennium Stage School - the longest establishe­d stage school in West Lothian. Good for young people who are interested in all things theatre and performing.

The Tower is holding a Christmas Fayre on Sunday November 28 from 11-3pm. As the Tower is an integral hub of Transform Craigshill Community Action Group, we have provided our community with a great opportunit­y to get in some early Christmas shopping, look for a wee something special for yourself or just to have a browse & a blether over a tea or coffee & fresh home baking, a mulled wine & mince pie, or your usual alcoholic refreshmen­t.

All while getting into the festive spirit, supporting small local businesses & aiding us to deliver our childrens Christmas party at the same venue on December 12 from 1- 4pm.

Pupils from Simpson Primary School enjoyed Scottish Book Week recently with some fun activities.

The youngsters shared their favourite books, read to each other and even held a Mad Hatters Tea Party.

Children in Primary One created their own cosy dens in class and others had great fun with puppets and had a go at being authors and illustrato­rs,
