Beesley leaves Brox for Hearts role
Broxburn Athletic are looking for a new assistant manager following the departure of Jack Beesley to Hearts.
The midfielder, who had combined his role with playing and came off the bench in Saturday’s loss to Crossgates Primrose, will take on a role within the Hearts academy.
Beesley was part of the Brox side that made the transition from Junior to senior and narrowly missed out on promotion to the Lowland League during their first season before reaching the Scottish Cup fourth round the following year.
Beesley said:“It is with a heavy hear that my time at Broxburn comes to an end. Whilst I didn’t manage to contribute as much on the pitch as I would have liked, I’m proud to have been part of the inaugural EOS conference winning side and that who had the amazing Scottish Cup run in 2019/20.
“However the opportunity to take up a role in the children’s/youth academy of a professional club was too good to turn down and unfortunately would have been impossible to show the necessary commitment Broxburn deserves at the same time.”
