Do you know someone with dementia? If so please contact them re a Music 4 U group held on the third Wednesday of each month in Carmondean United Parish Church, Fells Rigg, Livingston. Afternoon tea, musical activities and fellowship can be enjoyed with other people in a similar position; we do ask that a carer comes along as well.

Volunteers are trained in dementia and skilled in music. There is no charge - only fun and stimulatio­n geared to the needs of the person with dementia.

HATHA YOGA CLASS

Hatha classes are suitable both for beginners and more experience­d students, for all ages (over sixteen) and most levels of fitness.

has expressed concern regarding the deteriorat­ing condition at the sites of local shops at Crofthead, Nigel and Douglas Rise.

Having had no maintenanc­e carried out for years paving stones require replacing, walls repaired, steps realigned, new signage and fence repairs. The Council has asked the West Lothian Council to inspect the sites.
