need new members to complete their semi-finalist squad. Livingston’s Scottish Cup semi-finalist youth team are currently looking for new players to augment their squad.

The club have a strong under-18 team and they enjoyed a hugely successful season last year, reaching the final four of the Scottish Cup but the club are hoping to field two sides at that age group for the 2022 season.

They currently play games on a Wednesday with training on a Friday evening. Winter indoor training is currently in full swing too, and there will also be the chance to be selected for the senior side on a Saturday afternoon.

The senior side have two teams currently playing in the East of Scotland Cricket Associatio­n leagues. Anyone interested is advised to send the club a direct message over Twitter. The club’s account is @livicricke­t.

Do you know someone with dementia? If so please contact them re a Music 4 U group held on the third Wednesday of each month in Carmondean United Parish Church, Fells Rigg, Livingston. Afternoon tea, musical activities and fellowship can be enjoyed with other people in a similar position; we do ask that a carer comes along as well.

Volunteers are trained in dementia and skilled in music. There is no charge - only fun and stimulatio­n geared to the needs of the person with dementia.

MURIESTON PHOTOGRAPH­IC GROUP

is based at Livingston Cricket Club and meet on the first Wednesday of the month

from 7-9. All welcome and any levels.

This is not a membership club - the idea is just to be an informal group who meet once or maybe twice a month to discuss anything related to photograph­y, share pictures, help each other with skills, maybe a few of the more expert in the group will give short talks about specific topics and show techniques used to achieve certain photograph­y styles.

No fee, other than being a member of the Cricket Club Social (just £5/year).

HATHA YOGA CLASS

with Carol held in Bellsquarr­y Village Hall on Tuesdays from 11am to 12.30pm. Hatha yoga is the most common form of yoga practised in the West.

Hatha classes are suitable both for beginners and more experience­d students, for all ages (over sixteen) and most levels of fitness.

(This general class is not suitable for pregnant students) Come along and experience the stretch of the postures, the calming effect of breath practices and restorativ­e relaxation.

You will need a yoga mat (widely available from sports shops, Argos, TKMaxx etc.), stretchy clothing that lets you move and a light blanket for relaxation.

Thistle play away to Kinnoul, Perth in a cup tie on Saturday with the kick off at 2pm. The bus will leave at 11.30am and seats must be booked through any of the committee. Sunday 20 February lottery draw numbers were 5, 9, 12, 17.

There was one winner and next Sundays prize money is £200. The next bingo will take place on Friday 15 April in the Cavalier with doors opening at 7pm and eyes down at 8pm.

In person Sunday worship has resumed at 11am and no booking is necessary now. The Duty Team will be on hand to guide and support everyone with any restrictio­ns that are still in place so please bear with them.
