New Wasps boss Rice vows to keep it simple in Alloa
Whitburn’s Brian Rice is back in football after being appointed manager of League One side Alloa Athletic.
The 58-year-old had been out of the game since resigning as boss of Hamilton Academical in August.
He takes over from Barry Ferguson, who left the post earlier this month following a run of just one win in 11 games with the
Wasps.
They currently sit in seventh place, just four points above the relegation play-off place.
Rice commented:“My expectations are simple – win the next game we play. There’s nothing more important than that.
“If we focus on that, obviously we’ll maintain our status in the league.”
