STOCK CARS

-

A host of West Lothian drivers have been putting their stock cars through the paces as they prepare for the new season at the Cowdenbeath Racewall which gets underway this weekend.

Leon Stewart (Kirknewton) debuted his new ORCi Stock Rod and after a quiet opening run quickly built up speed and the car was certainly very quick towards the end of the session.

Ross Forrest (Livingston) had a good outing with his Saloon and will be keen to get his season underway while in the Ministox, Robbie Armit (Livingston) and Bobby Brandon (Fauldhouse) were the locals in action and both must be pleased with their outing.

Armit’s back after a season showed that he was going to be a force to be reckoned with and it certainly is going to be an interesting season’s racing for the West Lothian contingent.

ORCi Stock Rod World Champion David Philp Jnr of Seafield will be debuting his new car in what should be an exciting start to the season on Sunday with the meeting at the Racewall getting underway at 1pm.
