Borland handed toughtie
William Borland will have to defeat one of the most famous names in darts if he is to avoid an early exit in the UK Open this weekend.
The 25-year-old from East Calder takes on five-time world champion Raymond van Barneveld in the third round in Minehead.
Borland stunned the sporting world two months ago by throwing a nine-darter in the deciding leg of his first ever World Championship match.
He heads into his third UK Open event sitting one place behind his Dutch opponent in the current world rankings (55th) and will be keen to build momentum following his impressive exploits earlier this year.
