LIVINGSTON CRICKET CLUB

are holding a kids craft workshop for 6 – 10 years olds on Saturday 12th March from 10.30 – 12.30 . Only 8 places available , cost £10 includes craft materials for two cards and a mother’s day wooden gift, a drink and snack. BOWLING CLUB

Fancy joining Bankton Mains Bowling Club? If you would like to come along to the Club and have a look, please feel free anytime during the season. You will find the club busy most mornings, afternoon or evenings. We have plenty of seating around the green for spectating and with a large patio area and well-kept gardens, provide a relaxing atmosphere. Sit back, relax and watch the bowls go by and enjoy a cool beverage from our well stocked bar. If you would like to become a member, just apply online below as a new member or pop in to the club and pick up some forms, either ask the bar staff, or any member of the club and they can advise you all the way!

Bankton Mains Bowling Club member fees are due. Full membership £110, Concession membership £55 and Junior membership £5.00. LIVINGSTON CRICKET CLUB

need new members to complete their semi-finalist squad. Livingston’s Scottish Cup semi-finalist youth team are currently looking for new players to augment their squad.

The club have a strong under-18 team and they enjoyed a hugely successful season last year, reaching the final four of the Scottish Cup but the club are

hoping to field two sides at that age group for the 2022 season.

They currently play games on a Wednesday with training on a Friday evening. Winter indoor training is currently in full swing too, and there will also be the chance to be selected for the senior side on a Saturday afternoon.

The senior side have two teams currently playing in the East of Scotland Cricket Associatio­n leagues. Anyone interested is advised to send the club a direct message over Twitter. The club’s account is @livicricke­t.

MURIESTON PHOTOGRAPH­IC GROUP

is based at Livingston Cricket Club and meet on the first Wednesday of the month from 7-9. All welcome and any levels.

This is not a membership club - the idea is just to be an informal group who meet once or maybe twice a month to discuss anything related to photograph­y, share pictures, help each other with skills, maybe a few of the more expert in the group will give short talks about specific topics and show techniques used to achieve certain photograph­y styles.

No fee, other than being a member of the Cricket Club Social (just £5/year).

Thistle play away to Pumphersto­n on Saturday 12 March with the kick off at 2.30pm. Sunday 6 March lottery draw numbers were 4, 6, 8, 19.

There were no winners and the prize money for Sunday 13 March is £400. The club have organised a prize bingo evening to take place on Friday 15 April in the Cavalier, Entry is £1.00 and doors will open at 7pm with eyes down at 8pm.
