Broxburn Gala Day returns

Broxburn Gala Day will go ahead this year after two years of cancellations due to covid.

At its recent meeting, Broxburn Gala Day Committee has decided that the show will indeed go on.

The gala will be held on Saturday, August 20, and the theme will be children’s books/authors which was the previous theme from the 2020 gala which didn’t go ahead.

A spokesperson for the committee said:“Planning this gala day is going to be a huge task for the committee.

“We will need help from the Broxburn community with fundraising, stewards for the parade to help with safety and with setting up the park on the gala day.

“We want to make this come back gala the best Broxburn Gala Day after our two year absence due to covid and give the children a fun day which they have missed.

“We are asking the Broxburn Community to get behind Broxburn Gala Day Committee.
