A business that’s full of Razzmatazz

-

A Bathgate-based event, design and decor business has been awarded Event Decorator of the Year at The Scottish Wedding Awards.

Family-run Razzmatazz Occasions was honoured with the award as they joined over 500 wedding professionals from across the country at The Marriott Hotel, Glasgow.

The awards showcased florists, cake decorators, wedding bands, hair and make-up professionals, pipers, and venues.

The awards were slated as an exclusive celebration of wedding specialists across Scotland for an industry that was hit hard by the pandemic and Covid-19 restrictions.

Razzmatazz Occasions won the Event Decorators of the Year 2022 category – beating competitors from Glasgow,

Edinburgh and beyond.

Michelle Fraser, owner of Razzmatazz Occasions, said:“It was really great to see so many people from West Lothian recognised at the awards show last month.

“It’s fantastic that people are realising that you don’t have to go as far as Edinburgh or Glasgow to plan your dream day, and that we have so much talent here on our doorstep.

“I was shocked to win the award to say the least. We’ve won twice at The Confetti Awards since we opened eight years ago, but this is the first time we’ve won at The Scottish Wedding Awards.

“We’ve always supported the local wedding industry, and it appears to be paying off with at least four other wedding specialists in West Lothian getting awards this year.”

Other local winners at The Scottish Wedding Awards this year include: Karen’s Crafted Cakes from Uphall, Becky’s Flowers from Bathgate, That Special Day Bridal Warehouse in Livingston and Highland Kilt Connections in Bathgate.
