Builder appliesto extend estate

Housing developers are hoping to build more luxury homes at an existing estate in West Lothian.

An application for planning permission has been lodged for the construction of 15 detached homes.

The plan would mean more homes within the current development at Woodmuir Road in Breich.

The development has outline planning permission for 58 housing units over four phases.

West Calder-based Henderson Developments Ltd is seeking permission to extend the development at the site.

It would comprise four and five bedroom homes with garages.

The site was zoned as being suitable to take up to 120 homes.

However, the applicant reduced this to 58, with the houses being built by a single developer.
