How would you like to enhance the village?

Mid Calder Community Council has been awarded £15,000 from the Town Centre Capital Fund 2022/2023 and are looking for Mid Calder residents to share their ideas on how they would like these funds spent. Over the last 3 years we have used the funds to: Erect notice boards on bank street and by the primary school along with memorial benches. Refurbish the car park in Bank Street.

Parking bays by the village green. A disabled ramp into what will be our information area on bank street with a sculpture of a coo, memorial benches. Signage of our history of being on the drovers’ trail. Painted stones will be put on the back wall by Mid Calder rocks group.

A defibrillator will also be put on the wall in this area. Memorial benches and planters in the area beside the Institute Hall on Market Street.
