Reuse and Thrive, the local community charity with the shop at 148 Main Street are organising a community tidy up of the flower beds and repainting of the stones at the entrance of Almondell and Calderwood Country Park. Can you help? Please let us know if you can come along between 10am and 12 noon. Bring your own tools. We hope to provide soup and sandwiches afterwards. Does anyone have white masonry paint? Let’s keep East Calder beautiful!.

Saturday March 26 from 10-12..15pm Its Spring so start planning your afternoon teas. We have an assortment of pretty bone china

teasets and plates etc plus a variety of items for home baking.

Our Community Shop in East Calder is open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 102pm. We have bric a brac (glasses, crockery, ornaments, pictures) and are well stocked with

clothes, toys, jigsaws and books. We also have the "free boxes" outside or in on a wet day

which are fun to rummage. We welcome any donations but do not have the room for dvds,

cds and hard backed books, also no electrical items please.

LADIES MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT GROUP

This group offers peer support, confidence building, social activities and advice and support .

No registrati­on so just pop into the Dave King partnershi­p Centre, East Calder on Mondays from 6.60-8.30pm.
