MILITARY MUSEUM

At the moment while the continuing storm damages are repaired and new additions added, we will continue on our winter opening hours, which are. Friday, Saturdays & Sundays from 103pm until April 1. We get loads of kit handed in that we already have in display in the museum: excess kit is sold off to raise much needed funds to help the museum. We are presently putting together kit to send to Ukraine.

If you have just left the military recently, i.e.past 10 years or so. You may have kit tucked away and may never use again. We would appreciate warm kit, Sleep systems, webbing, body armour, helmets etc

There are people in the Ukraine that can use it, including fellow Brit Veterans that are over there helping out. If you have any kit that you want to put to a good cause, hand it in to Military Museum Scotland and we will make sure it gets to where its needed. Thank you.

YOGA

Wellness and Calm in East Calder will be returning as Sukha Yoga restarted back last Wednesday at usual time 7- 8.30pm. We are now in a new venue in East Calder Resource Centre (opposite the Grapes). Contact Ruth for further info:Ruth@ sukha.co.ukOr phone 07767777044

MILITARY MUSEUM

Despite the hold ups with Covid and the storm damage we will go ahead with our Militaria

Fair on the weekend of April 2 & 3. The plan was to hire Centenary Hall, so we could have had over 30 stalls, unfortunately its not available for hire yet. So we have to limit the Militaria Fair to only 10 stalls. It will be on a 1st come 1st serve basis. Each stall will be contained within a 3mx3m gazebo, which is included in the stall booking fee. Tables are available for hire, we will include a couple of chairs at no extra charge. Every penny from the hire of the stalls and tables will go directly towards keeping Military Museum Scotland open.

This is our 1st Militaria Fair and will be an annual event if its successful.

If you want a stall at this event, please drop an email to milmussco@yahoo. com and a booking form will be sent to you. The cost of a stall is £25 per day, that includes a 3x3m gazebo. For the 2 days it will be £40 tables are available for hire at only £5 per day per table. Entrance to the Militaria Fair is free, but if you also want to visit Military Museum Scotland, normal entry fees apply.
