The new £7million state-of-the-art Cedarbank School set in the grounds of James Young High School Livingston will see staff and pupils commence the transition to the new school after the Easter break.

The modern purpose-built facility will bring pupils from S1 to S6 together under one roof providing quality education for pupils with additional learning needs from around West Lothian.

Livingston and District Art Club meet at Crofthead Farm Centre every Tuesday

evening from 7-9pm. The club cater for both the beginner and accomplish­ed artist and use a range of mediums.

New attenders will be made most welcome.

DEDRIDGE BAPTIST CHURCH

at Quentin Rise is holding a service of worship this Sunday March 27 starting at 11am.

There has been a large increase in the number of people using the Lanthorn Community Food Shop at Crofthead Farm.

The shop is open on Monday evenings from 5-7pm in addition to Mondays and Wednesday’s 9am-12.30pm and on

Tuesday evenings from 5-7pm. Bags of food costing a very reasonable £3 are on

sale with the contents varying each day depending on what has been delivered.

The cost also includes a pack of fresh meat or poultry. Gluten free foods are also stocked. Sanitary items are available free of charge along with free pet food for cats and dogs.

Nappies and baby milk is available at reduced costs. The shop is open to anyone, just drop in during opening hours. GIRLS’ BRIGADE

The 1 st Livingston Girls Brigade meet at Dedridge Primary school every Wednesday evening from 6.30-7.30pm

The Brigade caters for girls in the P1 to P6 age group and offers a range of fun activities. Admission cost £1 per week and new attenders will be made most welcome.
