Local residents are being asked to help select the design of a new permanent piece of public art which is to be installed outside the new Whitburn Partnership Centre.
This is the latest phase of a West Lothian Community Choices public engagement process which has already seen local people have the opportunity to contribute to the design of multiple options for the public art which will sit proudly in Whitburn town centre. The artist Ailsa Magnus has engaged with the local community and has designed three public art concepts.
She will be holding further engagement events within Whitburn Library tomorrow (Friday) from 11am until 4pm and also on Saturday from 10am until 1pm.
The public will be able to view picture boards and drawings to understand the design concepts. These sessions will also be an opportunity for members of the public to meet the artist, view miniature 3D models of each of the designs and share comments and ideas in person with the artist.
