Roarsome exhibition bringing lots of Easter fun to The Centre
Model dinosaurs are set to take over The Centre in Livingston for Easter.
The Jurassic statues, which were built using around 500,000 toy bricks, will be on show from April 1 to April 18.
Visitors will see dinosaurs like a seven foot Parasaurolophus made from over 100,000 bricks, or a 12 foot Velociraptor, made with over 45,000 bricks.
The display is put on by BRICKLIVE – a company that specialises in building exhibitions made from toy bricks – and is called‘BrickosaursTrail’.
Guests will be able to learn facts about the dinos on display, as well as having a free‘Brickosaurs Trail Hunt’which gets children to try and track down all the creatures around the shopping centre.
Shoppers can pick up a map for the hunt from the customer service desk next to New Look in The Centre. Completed trails can be returned to the desk and entered into a competition to be in with a chance of winning a £50 Gift Card every day during the event.
There is also i two 6ft x 4ft interactive selfie zones, with one featuring a huge Megalosaur head to capture fun photos.
It took a team of 20 designers and ‘master builders’over 3000 hours to build the dinosaurs, making use of a specialised 3D modelling software and then building the statues around stainless steel frames, glued together one brick at a time.
