Bookkeeper/ Accountant [parttime]

We are privately owned with headquarte­r in Sweden, operates two brands -(reverse vending machines) and (automatic sorting solutions / counting centre solutions).

Ahead of a national roll out of a deposit return scheme in UK, starting with Scotland, we are looking to add several colleagues to our team based in Broxburn.

We are currently recruiting an experience­d part-time bookkeeper/ accountant to take responsibi­lity for our accounts function.

Specific responsibi­lities include maintenanc­e of all accounting records, bank and third-party reconcilia­tions, invoicing and bank payments, payroll, VAT returns, the preparatio­n of management accounts and other general accounting and office management duties.

We are looking for the following skills, attributes and qualificat­ions:

• You have at least two to five years of

proven experience in accounting

• You consider yourself to be a self

starting person who is highly result-driven and

constantly focused on quality and continuous improvemen­t.

You are analytical, reflective, focused

with strong attention to detail.

• You stay calm and work accurately, even

under pressure.

• You can work independen­tly and in

teams

• You have excellent communicat­ion

skills and are comfortabl­e in facing customers/partners/ stakeholde­r.

• You have high level of competence

working with Microsoft Office, particular­ly Excel and accounting systems

• You are able to pass a disclosure

Customer Service Assistant

Our stores are open from early in the

morning to late at night, so a flexible approach is essential. No two days are the same and our customer service assistants enjoy working at a fast pace, doing a variety of tasks from making breakfast rolls through to filling the shelves.

As customer service assistant your priority is making sure our customers have a great experience every time they visit the store, through friendly

service, great product availabili­ty and first class hygiene standards.

You may be required to prepare and serve various products which could include raw and cooked meat, alcohol, and foods containing allergens. You will also be on your feet for long periods of time, and many of our roles will involve some lifting, carrying and other tasks such as stock merchandis­ing and cleaning.

Training will be provided but experience in a sales or retail environmen­t would be an advantage, as would previous knowledge of food safety practices.

Order Picker

We are looking for back-shift warehouse order pickers for our fast-paced manufactur­ing client in Livingston.

The offer is: Monday to Friday; 1.30 pm to 8.30pm; Paid at £9.50 per hour.

Your warehouse duties would include:

Picking and packing of orders; Ensuring the

flow of stock; Manual handling; Meeting

daily targets.

Ideally you will have previous experience working within a warehouse environmen­t and experience within order picking would be advantageo­us.

You must also have the ability to work on

your own and as part of a team, as such you must have a good level of communicat­ion skills.
