Our Community Shop in East Calder is open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10- 2pm.

We have bric a brac (glasses, crockery, ornaments, pictures) and are well stocked with clothes, toys, jigsaws and books. We also have the ‘free boxe’ outside or in on a wet day which are fun to rummage. We welcome any donations but do not have the room for dvds, cds and hard backed books, also no electrical items please. Do you fancy volunteering for a 2 hour shift on one of our days? You need not have had any experience and you will be trained. Ask when you are next in the shop.

COMMUNITY LISTENING PROJECT

Our first project venture is to run the KoNECt Cafe. This will start on Monday February 21 from 1-3pm in East Calder Church Hall. Please pop along for a cuppa and some company. It will run weekly

from then. All Welcome.

MILITARY MUSEUM

Militaria Fair on the weekend of April 2 & 3, The plan was to hire Centenary Hall, so we could have had over 30 stalls, unfortunately its not available for hire yet. So we have to limit the Militaria Fair to only 10 stalls. It will be on a 1st come 1st serve basis. Each stall will be contained within a 3mx3m gazebo, which is included in the stall booking fee. Tables are available for hire, we will include a couple of chairs at no extra charge. Every penny from the hire of the stalls and tables will go directly towards keeping Military Museum Scotland open.

This is our 1st Militaria Fair and will be an annual event if its successful.

If you want a stall at this event, please drop an email to milmussco@yahoo. com and a booking form will be sent to you. The cost of a stall is £25 per day, that includes a 3x3m gazebo. For the 2 days it will be £40 tables are available for hire at only £5 per day per table. Entrance to the Militaria Fair is free, but if you also want to visit Military Museum Scotland, normal entry fees apply.
