Grants were distributed to 60 small charities and projects across the UK following fundraising efforts in 2021 - The Larder being one to receive a grant.

The award-winning West Lothian Social Enterprise, was recognised for their commitment to alleviating poverty in the area and supporting anyone who needs their help.

Lauded in particular was their social food project, fighting food insecurity through meal deliveries, dining events, and cook and dine classes under the name ‘Catalyst Kitchen’.

It is hoped the grant will increase access to quality food in disadvantaged areas, encouraging people to make positive choices about food.
