MURIESTON PHOTOGRAPH­IC GROUP

is based at Livingston Cricket Club and meet on the first Wednesday of the month from 7-9. All welcome and any levels. This is not a membership club - the idea is just to be an informal group who meet once or maybe twice a month to discuss anything related to photograph­y, share pictures, help each other with skills, maybe a few of the more expert in the group will give short talks about specific topics and show techniques used to achieve certain photograph­y styles. No fee, other than being a member of the Cricket Club Social (just £5/year). Fancy joining Bankton Mains Bowling Club? If you would like to come along to the Club and have a look, please feel free anytime during the season. You will find the club busy most mornings, afternoon or evenings.

Bankton Mains Bowling Club member fees are due. Full membership £110, Concession membership £55 and Junior membership £5.00.

DEMENTIA

Do you know someone with dementia? If so please contact them re a Music 4 U group held on the third Wednesday of each month in Carmondean United Parish Church, Fells Rigg, Livingston. Afternoon tea, musical activities and fellowship can be enjoyed with other people in a similar position; we do ask that a carer comes along as well. Volunteers are trained in dementia and skilled in music. There is no charge - only fun and stimulatio­n geared to the needs of the person with dementia. The group meet from 2 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. all welcome. Contact Nancy on 419904 for more informatio­n.

MEG are looking for committee members as well as volunteers to help out in and around our community. “Unfortunat­ely due to personal circumstan­ces we have lost a couple of committee members over the last two years. As such we are now looking to gain a few new members, young or old.

If you have time to spare every now and then for a meeting/event and maybe have some ideas you’d like to put into action we’d love to hear from you!

ARMADALE PARISH CHURCH

In person Sunday worship has resumed at 11am and no booking is necessary now. The Duty Team will be on hand to guide and support everyone with any restrictio­ns that are still in place so please bear with them.

Services will also take place on line. All will be warmly welcomed.

HARMONY DANCE CLUB

The club meet in Armadale Partnershi­p Centre on a Tuesday afternoon from 1.30pm-3.30pm and restart again after their festive break on Tuesday 11 January 2022 when all existing and new members will be made most welcome.

ARMADALE BOWLING CLUB

Bingo takes place in the club on Wednesdays at 8pm and Saturdays at 7.30pm. The treasure chest draw takes place on Saturday evenings.

THRIFT SHOP

In Armadale Church Hall is now open again after many months of closure due to the Covid pandemic.

The Thrift Shop is open from 10am – 12 noon so why not come along and browse and pick up a bargain and have a cup mof tea and a blether. Everyone will be warmly welcomed.

CREDIT UNION

Are situated in Armadale Community Centre on Wednesday’s from 9.15am – 10.00 am and will continue to be in the Community Centre on a weekly basis. Posters are on display in Armadale Community Centre.

The Credit Union are also in attendance at The Dale Hub on Wednesdays from 10am – 11am.
