West Lothian College has been shortliste­d for four awards in three categories at an upcoming business enterprise award show.

The‘Bridge 2 Business Enterprise Awards’recognises students and educators who are leading the way in enterprise education.

The college has been shortliste­d for four awards in three categories - College Enterprise Champion Award, two Special Recognitio­n Awards, and Enterprisi­ng

Student of theYear Award.

The College Enterprise Champion Award highlights a lecturer or any member of staff who is leading the way in enterprise education in their college, nominated from the college was Steven Morrison.

Steven has also been nominated in the ‘Special Recognitio­n’category along with John Begbie.

They have been shortliste­d as deserving of special recognitio­n for their dedication, passion and developmen­t in supporting enterprise education.

Tori-Leigh Adams has been shortliste­d in the‘Enterprisi­ng Student of the Year’ category for showing an enterprisi­ng spirit and a creative approach to a specialise­d projects and business ideas.

Tori-Leigh hopes to open a femalefrie­ndly garage once she graduates, run by women, for women.

Winners will be announced from the shortlist at the Bridge 2 Business Enterprise Awards on April 28 at 7pm.
