ART AND WELL-BEING COURSE CRAIGSFARM

As part of our Community Well-being and Resilience programme, we are delighted to be introducing a new course to you that promotes well being and at the same time allows you to tap into that wonderful creativity waiting to burst out.

We have invited Katherine Fay Allan to host a series of workshops to explore how creativity can help us grow in confidence and find moments of joy.

These workshops will draw inspiration from nature and the surrounding green spaces at Craigsfarm; exploring themes around resilience, connection, growth and celebration.

You will be guided through a variety of creative processes including drawing, painting and sculpture as well as using both traditional and found materials. These workshops will follow a relaxed and open learning approach to encourage a supportive and welcoming atmosphere. The sessions are free to attend and open to everyone. You do not need any prior knowledge of art, all that is required is a willingness to try something new and to explore creativity.

Our Art and Well-being course is certain to lift our moods and inspire our hidden creativity.

The course will run for 5 weeks on Tuesday afternoons from 1- 3.30pm starting Tuesday May 3 to June 7. The course will be held at the Craigsfram Community Hub, and as places are limited you must register for the course. To request a registration form please contact manuelacolettti@craigsfarm. org.uk

We welcome a £5 contribution towards the cost of the course, but this is not a requirement.
