Sequel to Scream and shout about

Scream (2022) ●●●●●

This is the first Scream movie not directed by the late Wes Craven. However, Ready or Not’s Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett were inspired choices to take on helming duties (see review below).

They recognise technology has moved on dramatically from even the previous film, never mind the 1996 original, and arm Ghostface with new devices and tricks to prey upon his victims.

The fact those victims still include Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette is vital for the ongoing story and while the trio appear a little jaded, from a character point-of-view it’s understandable.
