Four fight it out in thrilling Conference X finale

Whitburn and Armadale Thistle are amongst four sides battling it out for promotion in a thrilling Conference X title race that looks set to go to the wire.

Just two points separated the four sides prior to last night’s (Wednesday) clash between Fauldhouse United and Bo’ness Athletic.

Remarkably, all four of the sides in the promotion race have at least two of their final four fixtures against their fellow rivals – with the top two set to compete in next season’s revamped East of Scotland Division Two.

Tuesday night sees the first of those thrilling clashes as Whitburn welcome Bo’ness Athletic to Central Park – with the pair set to meet once again at Newtown Park just four days later.

On that same say, Armadale Thistle travel to Syngenta for what could be a pivotal day in the league. Each club’s remaining fixtures are as follows:
