2010S FOOTBALL TRIALISTS

Broxburn Colts, Broxburn Atheltic, Broxburn Badgers

The three 2010s football teams for Broxburn are looking for trialists to help bolster squads for now and next seasons 11 aside leagues. This is a fabulous football community to be part of where kids will learn football skills, social skills and life skills. CARERS OF WEST LOTHIAN

Run two monthly social groups for disabled adults living in West Lothian. The evening group runs on the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 6-7pm and the morning group, on the 4th Tuesday of the month from 10.30-11.30am.

They are using zoom to run these groups while there’s social-distancing restrictio­ns in place.

Normally, the evening group meet in Bathgate and the morning group, in the Whitburn Community Fridge, Community Hubs, Salvation Army and the West Lothian Foodbank.

These social groups are a great way to meet other people, have a chat and a bit of fun with an activity or two such as quizzes, music etc.

BEREAVEMEN­T SUPPORT COURSE

Grief and loss can be some of the most difficult things we’ll have to process in our lives. It can be very overwhelmi­ng, but thankfully you do not have to navigate this alone. In partnershi­p with the Livingston United Parish Church, Craigsfarm will be hosting another round of the Stepping Stones Bereavemen­t Support Course. This 6 week course will begin on Thursday May 12 and finish on Thursday June 16. All classes will run from 6.45- 8.30pm atthe Craigsfarm Community Hub. MINDFULNES­S-BASED MEDITATION PRACTICE

Come and join us on our Mindfulnes­sbased meditation practice helping build calm into daily life. Together we will go on a journey to learn effective meditation practices and wisdom to cultivate inner peace, resilience an piritual happiness. We will introduce simple, effective and practical methods to help us not only calm the mind but also to experience a deeper level of happiness that acts as an anchor to withstand the rough waves of everyday life.

4-week courses will run on Tuesday mornings from 10.30- 12pm from May 3– May 24, July 19 –August 9 or October 11– December 1.
