Are you retired or semi-retired and looking for a new way to spend your free time? Why not try U3A?
New members are always welcome and there’s a range of things to do from walking (pictured) to informative meetings.
The next meeting ill be held at Uphall Community Centre on Wednesday, May 18 from 2pm. If you are planning to attend, we ask you, if possible, to take a Lateral Flow Test that morning and only come if it is negative.
The speaker will be Sophie Flynn of the
TreasureTrove Unit (TTU) of the National Museum of Scotland who will speak about her work.
Anyone who thinks they have found something of archaeological significance is obliged by law to report it to Treasure Trove who carry out investigations and object assessments and, where appropriate, investigate the spot where it was found.
New U3A members are always welcome - please contact the Membership Secretary Anne on 01506844274. Further information is also available on our website https://u3asites.org.uk/westlothian/ home.
