Stephen back in the swing

Golfing star Stephen Gallacher will be back in European Tour action this week when he takes part in the Soudal Open in Antwerp, Belgium.

The 47-year-old Linlithgow ace and Bathgate Golf Club member, pictured above, will tee off today (Thursday) hoping to find form in what has been a challenging campaign for the former Ryder

Cup winner.

Gallacher has made the cut in just one of his six Tour events this season and is coming off a disappointing 121st place finish at the Betfred British Masters last week where he shot a 77 and 72 as he failed to make it through to the weekend.

The Scot finds himself paired with South Africa’s Thriston Lawrence and Jorge Campillo of Spain when playing the opening round.
