Get set for return of the Jedi as Fallen Order sets its sights on a 2023 release
You wait decades for a Star Wars game, film or TV show...then, well, absolutely loads come along.
The Lego Skywalker Saga is barely out and fans’attention is already turning to the upcoming follow-up to 2019’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
The third-person actionadventure — which cast the player as former Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis and boasted stellar lightsaber and Force gameplay — was a hit with critics and gamers.
Unsurprisingly, a sequel is on the way — and the developers have finally given us a hint of what it will be all about.
Quizzed about it on a podcast, insider Jeff Grubb confirmed the name will be“Star Wars Jedi: Survivor”.
Meanwhile, he also said the game won’t be coming to PS4 or Xbox One — and won’t be out this year.
“Star Wars Jedi 2 is going to be new-gen only, where it’s PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and then of course PC,”Grubb said.
“One of the reasons that they’re going to be able to do that is because it’s not coming out until 2023.
“This game is for sure now not coming out until 2023.”
