Five Parkrun wins in a row for Ritchie

Mark Ritchie continued his brilliant form by making it five wins from his last five Livingston Parkruns on Saturday morning.

Crossing the finish line in 17.43, Ritchie also made it a remarkable 25 consecutive top-five finishes. Gavin McCluskie (18.50) and Frank Boyne (18.54) were second and third finishers respectively.

Linda Fowler (21.23) was first female home ahead of Livingston Athletic Club’s Avril Pearson (21.48).

At the Polkemmet Country Parkrun, Pitreavie AAC’s Jeff Farquhar led home the field in a time of 19.31.

Bob Couper (20.02) and John Capaldi (20.20) rounded out the top three with Lothian Running Club’s Gaby O’Donnell first female in a new personal best of 25.11.
