Horsham Club Wanderers walk to comfortable victory

In Division 1 of the Horsham & District Snooker League the leaders Horsham Club Wanderers had a convincing 4-1 away win against lowly Barns Green A.

The win was aided by breaks of 42 from Dil Miah, 30 from Bradley Harper and 21 from Dean Knight.

Breaks of 25 and 24 from Graham Frecknall and 22 from Adrian Laker helped Roffey D stay second, while Sporting Roffey remain in third spot by beating Loxwood Sports A 3-2 at home.

Roffey K went down 4-1 at home to YMCA A for whom Martin Wood made a break of 34 and Phil Browning a 24, while struggling Oakwood Hill C lost 4-1 at home to Rusper Village Vipers.

Horsham Club D won 4-1 away at Horsham Club B with Paul Chambers making a 21 break for the home team.

Bottom side Warnham B won 3-2 at home against Horsham Club Casuals where Matthew Haynes knocked in a 26 break for the home team and Grant Moyes a 26 for the visitors.

In Division 2, Roffey E remain at the top despite going down 3-2 away at Roffey GC and Oakwood Hill D stay in second spot with a 5-0 whitewash at home against Pulborough B.

Third placed Barns Green B lost 3-2 away at club mates Barns Green C with Kevin Leonard making a 24 break for the struggling home team and Pulborough C won 3-2 at home to Holbrook Club B.

Bottom side Roffey H won 3-2 at home to Roffey F and Balcombe Club went down 3-2 at home to Horsham Club E.
